Best place in NOLA to get oysters. 100 years young.
Great old time Oyster House!! Excellent service as well
Fantastic all around. Long line for lunch but had a great chat with the oyster shucker for a nice local touch while waiting. All staff friendly and welcoming. Special praise for him and the entire kitchen staff especially the woman charbroiling the oysters in the back, thru the kitchen next to the bathrooms. Be sure to say hi to her and tip her too. The chicken on my salad was literally rancid. Had several people at my table try it and confirm. Nobody ever apologized when I mentioned it. Never offered me anything else. Waitress was just avoiding the situation altogether. Service awful. Food inedible. We waited for a table but there was no where to actually stand without being in everyone’s way. You have to walk through the greasy kitchen to get to the restroom. Just. No.
