I've been going here for over 20 years! Best place in Miami for fresh fish!!!!
I would not buy fillet fish at the counter. Got red grouper yesterday, was super stinky. I was in a hurry, so did not pay much attention, but even the color of the fish meat was dull and greyish. Only buy whole fish (if the skin and eyes look good) and make them fillet it. Otherwise there will be food poisoning. It was my third time at the fish market, really disappointing that they sell old fish. Only now I read older reviews, its not the first time they sell rotten fish.
