(Somebody mentioned the drinks tasted weird which apparently was due to a lot of chlorine in the water. This issue was resolved a few years ago and they don't taste like that anymore) The Georgetown location is among the smaller of the Casa Olé restaurants but the food and staff are always great and super-friendly. I love Casa Olé and eat there whenever I can. ¡Especially great chips/salsa/queso!
Worst Food I have had in a long time-Possibly Ever. – Hostess was a stuck-up little twat. The restaurant smelled of an outhouse on a hot summer day. Food absolutely putrid. For lunch I ordered chicken and beef enchiladas. What came looked like wax beans and two corn shells filled with a few pieces of chopped chicken (?) and chopped beef (?), covered in some yellow vomit of a paraffin base. The tast was so bad I ate a few pieces of the alleged "meat" and left the rest for garbage. The kids' "Chicken Wheels" were equally disgu... read more
We have eaten at this Casa Ole several times. I do not know what has changed, but the portions were laughable. We always get the same things to eat when we dine here and usually have leftovers to take home but my 2 enchiladas were tiny! They were smaller than my index finger and my husband ordered the Chimichanga meal and it was no bigger than a tamale. My son's quesadillas were also tiny, he was still hungry when his plate was empty and we then shared our already small portions of food with him. We also got top shelf margar... read more
Mediocre at best – We went to eat at Casa Ole for the first time today. Upon arriving a table had to be wiped down for us since the bused tables were still dirty. Overall we were not at all impressed with the food, we both ordered tacos which were excessively greasy. The service was ok but when we commented that the tacos were really greasy nothing was done about it. I'm very unlikely to eat there again or recommend it.
My husband and I ate here for the first time two days ago. It's a small restaurant. We both ordered a boneless wings combo meal. Our order was taken quickly and was accurate. I tried the Hawaiian flavor while my hubby got the original. The wings are comparable to those we have previously eaten at other restaurants. We both liked the food. However, the soft drinks were another story ... I am a Dr Pepper fan while my hubby drinks Diet Coke. I told him my soda tasted "funny" and he said his did too. So we assumed the bad taste ... read more
Average Mexican fare – I have eaten at Casa Ole off and on since I was a teenager. Some locations are better than others, but the food quality is usually consistent ... good for the price, average Mexican fare. Our waitress wasn't rude, but she wasn't very friendly either. She left us with the impression that she didn't really want to be there, but had to.
The food was good and so was the margaritas. Our waitress could have been better ... she seemed as though she did not want to be there.
Chain Food – Friendly staff and consistant food. Average Mexican fare. Would rather spend my money in a small family owned business. Great location in shopping center.
