Seemed a nice place at first. Then the landlord did not keep to the rental agreement, I was shown discrimination after the first week and then the entire remainder of stay, was stolen from for several hundred dollars of belongings out of room. Not to mention, the room was rented out with a year's worth of dirt from the previous tenant. I have literally seen squatters right's with more decency. Renter beware. Been living here for two weeks and this place is clean and quiet and i love it.
Casa Maria provides one of the most cost effective accommodations in Portland. In addition, the location is conveniently situated with regard to public transport. Maria, the proprietress, is a kind soul who readily resolves any issues that may arrive.
Recently, I stayed at Casa Maria's. My whole stay was pleasant. The rooms, bathrooms, and commons areas were all very clean. It was a treat having one's own refrigerator space and storage area in the kitchen. Nice to get up in the morning to make your own coffee and breakfast in the fully stocked large kitchen! Maria' was prompt in replying to any questions regarding maintenance, etc. Also, the other tenants were quite and respectful. I would definitely again stay at Casa Maria's.
