Best place ever!!!! Been dining at Casa de Pico since we were kids... Remember our parents ordering us the Hummingbird or a Senorita Rosa!!! So many beautiful memories with the family when they were located in Old Town...... The food and atmosphere is amazing!!!!! Our grandparents Roy and Mary Garcia use to sing with the mariachis back in the day 🎻 A piece of San Diego history in La Mesa ❤ Sharing a photo of my mom RIP!

Casa de Pico has been near and dear to my heart for over 40 years. I was heartbroken when it was forced to close in Old Town. We were happy they moved to La Mesa, because it was very close to our house in Lakeside. I moved to Colorado 6 years ago, but whenever I'm in San Diego it's one of my favorite stops. The margaritas are the best anywhere. The salsa is unmistakable. the handmade tortillas, and the tortilla chips are incredible. For me, it just tastes like home.
