My mother has been here for 6 days and the care she has received could not have been better! The staff is so kind and caring and the facility is beautiful. I will be forever grateful to them for making this process bearable.

Is all about the money. Hospice get paid by Medicare only 3 days. If they don’t died by then. They get not reimbursed. So, the intake person has to make sure your love one will only last 1-3 days. Ans they make sure they give meds to go quickly. For my husband they told me that they will take him, but not water or food will given once he arrived to the hospice. He last 3 days. Is very sad how our system .works.

Long story short, my mother-in-law went to the hospital the doctor gave her a week or two for her to live. They send us to this hospice center within one day being there the administration said “she’s not dying fast enough to qualify to be here and she has to be out of this place by 5 PM or we will charging $500 out-of-pocket a day. In their eyes, she wasn’t qualified to stay because she was talking a little and drinking water, but she was barely drinking 3oz a day”

This is the best place for end of life care. The staff is kind and compassionate. Nurses are experienced and knowledgeable. They took such good care of my sweetheart and all of the family just 3 short years ago. Thank you.
