Long story short, my mother-in-law went to the hospital the doctor gave her a week or two for her to live. They send us to this hospice center within one day being there the administration said “she’s not dying fast enough to qualify to be here and she has to be out of this place by 5 PM or we will charging $500 out-of-pocket a day. In their eyes, she wasn’t qualified to stay because she was talking a little and drinking water, but she was barely drinking 3oz a day”

This is the best place for end of life care. The staff is kind and compassionate. Nurses are experienced and knowledgeable. They took such good care of my sweetheart and all of the family just 3 short years ago. Thank you.

Casa De La Luz sent a representative to our home to evaluate my husband for hospice care. She said he did not qualify for in-patient care because he could still walk and talk. Barely could he walk! This was about noon. She left saying medication would arrive by 10PM even though he was already in pain and I had nothing to control it. They left me to provide care. His meds arrived at 7PM. Everyone who cared for my mother was not only skilled and professional but very compassionate and supportive. They were attentive and gentle, we could not have asked for better care. Highly recommend.
