The food was terrible!!! The food made Taco Bell seem like a four star restaurant. The building is cool and the entertainment was cheesy, but alright. They really need to work on the food, it was the worst mexican food I have ever had!!
My detailed BAD expierence – It looks nice from the outside...then you walk into a dark entrance and don't get greeted by anyone. Next you have to walk through a very long dim hall way. You get to a "cashier" and order before you get to your table. The cashier will not tell you how much you owe because you pay later and it is NOT on the reciept. next you walk through another long maze of chained dim pathways to a door area where they give you the food you ordered and your drinks on a tray. Food is horrible!!! – They made me buy food for my kids(4 years and 23 months) witch they did not eat because they are at the age that they want Mommy or Daddy's food! It was very hot and humid, we were sweating. The food was really gross we all felt really sick the next day! Our bill was $68 WOW!!! The only thing that was good was the show and water fall oh and the sopapilla's! The cave was boring and the arcade is just to small!!! I will NEVER go back again!

It's not about the food, it's about the fun – I remember going to Casa Bonita every year with my family as a kid and loving it. I recently went back... what happened to the food? Was it always that bad? Maybe kid's a different set of taste buds and think it's good, I don't know but the reviews comparing it to TV-dinners are being kind. I have taken many children, groups of children, our out-of-state visitors, and my family to Casa Bonita repeatedly for over 30 years. Everyone has enjoyed it and been greatly entertained! Both my g'children live out-of-state and we can't wait to take them to Casa Bonita this summer! I am a long-time fan of Casa Bonita!
Tragedy – Ever heard the term "You can put whip cream on a turd, but its still a turd." This term applies to Casa Bonita. Learn this lesson, parents will only get hosed one time for the love of there kids, before they implement the distraction method. What a joke! – So after living in Denver for many years I finally gave in and decided to head to Casa Bonita to see/hear what many locals rave about. Needless to say, I wished I had held out a little longer. The food is the worst ever. It was an $11.99 tv dinner. Honestly it was so much worse that I ended up with an upset stomach afterward. Save your money. it was awful – we went to the one in Denver on sat. wow there food has went down hill. it actually just tasted like you bought a microwave mexican dinner and threw it in the microwave. people are so packed in there its not a great atmosphere. people go from table to table trying to sell you toys. even when you say no they come back to bother you. as a warning, don't go. just go to taco bell. the food there is much better.
