Pros: - Location, Banker’s Hill is a great community. - Cabrillo is a decent property management company. - On-site property manager is rad. - Laundry room on-site ($2 wash, $1.75 dry). - Gated community. Cons: - NOISE! If you want quiet, this place is not for you. Seriously, this place was constructed in 1930 and is mostly original. The walls have no insulation (plaster). CONS: - Property management company Cabrillo will illegally keep money that's owed to you out of your security deposit. That's why it's 1 star. - Very thin walls, you can hear the conversations of your neighbors. You will also wake up when your neighbor does because you hear everything. Luckily, for me it was a temporary 6 month stay -construction next door can be loud and water turned off type issues - I think they'll be wrapped up soon though -it's a mini sized stove/oven and only 1 burner got hot enough to cook on. the kn... read more

I don't live here but I live across the street from this building and there are on and off issues with dogs barking all night, and cats yowling all night (I can see the cat in a corner unit yowling and crying out the open window when it happens.) I can only imagine it's much worse if you were to actually live in the same building with these neighbors.

Don’t do it. The walls are paper thin, you can hear every word your neighbors are saying. It’s awful. The building is really old. You’ve been warned.
