Great food and awesome menu – We were there on saturday night it was busy but we had a great seat outside , and a very good meal. Specials are pricey but so is the rest of NY. - STEVE I highly recommend.
BIG MENU - ALOT OF VARIETY- FOR LARGE GROUPS – IT WAS A RAINY NIGHT BUT WE STILL HAD A GOOD TABLE. WERE A GROUP OF 21. THE WAITER MADE FAMILY STYLE RECCOMENDATIONS OF APPETIZERS AND PASTAS AND WE CHOSE OUR MAIN COURSES. WE WERE VERY IMPRESSED THOUGH THE PLACE WAS BUSY, WE HAD EVERYTHING PLUS MORE. GREAT FOR PARTIES. Great Italian Food – Best Italian food on Mulberry Street! Great bar to hangout in before dinner. The bartenders were very friendly. We shared 4 appetizers, all were delicious (the baby artichokes are a must!). I had the ravioli for dinner. The sauce was incredible. Everyone loved their main courses. The waiter was very polite and friendly also. I would highly recommend Casa Bella.
Avoid – 03/22/08 First visit to NY visiting my friends daughter. After a long evening we were hungry we were near Bella Restaurant when a fella standing outside was begging people to come in and eat He was friendly enough and persuaded us to go in. small portions large price – My husband and I were looking for a good Italian restaurant. As we walked on Mulberry St. a man asked us to come in the Casa Bella for dinner. He said if we didn't like it he would pay the bill. Of course we did not ask him to pay the bill even though we were very dissapointed. If You Know Good Italian Food....Don't Bother Eating Here... – If you know good italian food, don't bother eating here. My friend and I ordered the fettucini alfredo....awful!!! My friend expressed her opinion about it -- in a very nice way, I may add, and our waiter was just horrible to her. Didn't want to hear anything and didn't believe her because the bus boy took her plate away and I can tell you she only ate two bites. Avoid it. There are better restaurants in the neighborhood. – I took my wife there for our anniversary. The chicken in the chicken caesar salad was cold and tasteless. We even got a stomach ache afterward. The waiter was impatient and arrogant. But he had no problem of tagging 20% onto our bill automatically. We are broadcasting to our friends to avoid the place at all cost.

lacks good service – I have mixed feelings on this place, the place was cute and cozy and the food was average, no complaints on the food, but the service was lacking. It was slow and the waitor was arrogant, but maybe I just came in at the wrong time. The service would have made me give this place at least 4 stars, I wouldn't mind going back for the food.
