My son and I had a great hunting experience at the Caryonah Hunting Lodge in Crossville TN.this past weekend. We are both fairly new to hunting. And we were apprehensive about spending the money for a guided hunt. Because I am normally known as my wife says. A cheapskate😀. But we found that it was a great value. Caryonah is an amazing and special place that I can’t say enough good things about. Rooms: The accommodations are great and not your typical hunting lodge. Rooms are good sized with extremely nice beds and bathrooms. We slept great every night. Food: With our stay we got breakfast and lunch. My husband took our son for his Senior year and 17th Birthday. It was as awesome for my son as it was for my husband 30 yrs. ago on his 17th Birthday! The only thing that has changed is the updated decor, the staff, food, hunt and experience was just as enjoyable today as it was then. The boys said breakfast and lunch were nice homecooked meals, and my guys are food snobs! Doug and Red did an awesome job putting the boys on hogs and my son got a big boar and sow with one shot! Great service . Our guide was the best . He put us on what we wanted before 10 am the first day . And a big shout out to the lady that brought us breakfast at the basement because of this virus mess . We will return and hope it's not 90 degrees .
