My wife and I had the misfortune of having a large pine tree fall into our backyard and onto our back porch roof earlier this year. A straight line wind removed a membrane roof cover from a 16x12 room in my house earlier this year. I also lost two huge pear trees that fell onto various sections of my fence. I called State Farm and (as usual) they were right there for me. They recommended I contact Cary Reconstruction Company for help with the repairs–great advice. I'm writing in reference to the service we received from CRC when our basement flooded a little while back. Shortly after our call, the team arrived and delivered attentive and professional service. They were very sensitive to our needs and helped make the entire process as simple and easy as possible! In particular, I would like to commend Tim Royal. We had a bathroom pipe connector break during the night and awoke to water covering the wood in our hallway, the vinyl flooring in our kitchen and a portion of the carpet in our den. Our insurance company recommended we call CRC. The technician from CRC came out and not only assessed the damage, but explained what was happening under the flooring in each area and the reason for the order of each step of the process. Great Service Provider – As a Realtor in the area I often run across a home with strong odors. I called CRC recently with such a home and they immediately and professionally eliminated the odors! If you ever run into strong cigarette smells....CRC can take care of it for you! I have used them before in remediating water damaged hardwoods as well... Highly recommend.

They don't even deserve 1 star! – The job was terrible! I fired the company before the job was even half complete! They promised they would fixed ALL the damage but once they started the job, they seemed to be in a hurry to finish and get out of my house! JUST SOME OF THE PROBLEMS: they didn't square my roof before they put the shingles back on, they left a damaged piece of ply wood on the roof (still with a tree limb sticking through) and shingled over it, they prepped the inside for paint, even though the ceilings were so ... read more

3 months after hired and VERY little done...CRC Fired!!! – Had a pipe burst under kitchen sink 2 days before Christmas. Insurance company hired CRC and they came and after 3 months...3 MONTHS they had only started to remove the ruined carpet! Also when they replaced the underflooring, they cut corners and tried to reuse things and did a very UNPROFESSIONAL job! Very displeased!
