We've been to Carver's twice. The first time we were impressed and decided to return for a special occasion several months later. The receiving hostess was impersonal and almost rude; never a smile, ungracious, as were the other two young ladies hanging out at the reception desk. Our water glasses were refilled regularly but again, done so by a very disgruntled employee. Jesse was a wonderful server! Very helpful and made great suggestions!
Worst service ever. And for a $40 entree, not impressed! James, our server was rude. Not helpful. Just because we had a group of 15, I'm sure felt like was getting 20% anyway! #attitude #NeverAgain

Great food and appetizers, but per one of the waitstaff, they tend to run out of things a lot in the bar.
I wanted to like it. I really did. Tonight was the first time my wife and I decided to get a bit fancy and go to Carvers. Our expectations were naturally very high considering price. It was a Friday night which is when fine restaurants typically bring their A game. We both ordered Prime Rib, which is usually the safest bet that you'll get a cut that is very tender almost now matter where you dine. Well guess what.
