About this business

For more than half a century, the Zagona family (three generations) has served some of Tucson's best Italian cuisine. The patio, with fountain and flowers, is the preferred choice with diners, but indoor dining is just as comfortable. The family-friendly staff and kitchen present hefty pasta portions, all you need is to order the right wine to accompany your dinner.

Food was excellent, but service was barely OK. It’s a rather large restaurant with much outdoor seating. I think they might suffer from a kitchen and a service station that is far away from some tables.

For Tucson, not bad. It's not New York or Philadelphia good, but for Tucson, not bad.

Went in for lunch and had a delightful experience. The ambiance was nice and the food tasted good. There were four in our party and I think we were all impressed. It is not a gourmet place but had the feel for what it is, a family owned Italian restaurant.
