I pretty much had the same experience I bought a subwoofer from him trusted what he said he said that my JL Audio would be fine my 300 push in Alpine 300 watt 2 600 watt RMS to 1400 W max power I broke it improperly free air and my amplifier was set at half for two weeks. 2 days ago I turned up my games two weeks later and the speaker quit working after 3 days of at 300 watts.
