This er is horrible! The Dr sent my daughter home severely dehydrated she couldn't even swallow or produce urine. She's now being properly taken care of and on IV right now at Samaritan hospital. Whoever the er Dr is from last night he needs to be fired and he is being reported!!
I delivered my 6th child at CAH on January 6, 2015. I delivered my first child there 20 years ago. Every experience I have had there has been wonderful. The nurses, some that have been there since my first child, are awesome...I cannot imagine having gone anywhere else. I just cannot say enough good things about the maternity department at CAH...perfect experience every time. Thank you to all the nurses and doctors for the care and attention you have provided to me and each of my children over the years.

I was in the ER over the weekend for pneumonia and the level of care I received from the triage nurse, the traveling nurse Nicole, and Dr. Venerus was outstanding!

I can say I will avoid ,at all cost, being treated by Carthage Area Hospital again. I'm beyond frustrated with the jacked up billing system they have. I should not have to worry about where my money goes when payments are being made. On numerous occasions my money has gone to accounts that are paid off and just sits there without notification. Also I've made payments, have been cashed, and somehow the money still does not go where it needs to be. I will be filing a formal complaint as well.
