I am very unhappy with this office & I feel like I am stuck there because there are no other OB's in the area that will accept new patients. I always experience at least an hour wait time to see the Dr. There is only one nice person at the reception desk and the others seem to have a major attitude. If you tell the Dr's you are having any problems including pain & cramping during your pregnancy you will just be told it is normal. We had a complication with our pregnancy and the doctors and staff were so helpful and caring. More doctors have been added and they are all great. Very happy with my choice.

I was In there for over 2 hours and maybe seen the nurse 10 mins. Was rushed out and was told it was one thing and got home researched and not even close to why I went in. If you want people who care about mother and unborn baby i would not recommend this place. Oh and the lady Gina is rude.

If your interested in having a group of drs who can monitor your pregnancy at scheduled appts and that's it, carteret OB is fine. I called several times during my first 20 weeks with simple questions and every time the nurses response was go to the emergency room. They never wanted to provide advice on what I thought was a simple question. This was my second pregnancy but it has been 5 years since my first and things change so I was really upset when the 5th call back stated another "recommended" ER trip, which I felt was un... read more

Unfortunately, this business has somewhat of a monopoly in the OB-GYN field in Carteret county. There are few other providers available in the immediate area. Unlike others, I must say the doctors are pretty good for the most part. Every other part of the business from reception to nurses and on to billing is very bad. Nursing and doctor staff are extremely inconsiderate and uncaring towards patients. The nurses seem irritated to check in a patient with basic pre-screenings and give vague instructions and directions on where to go or what to do. This behavior is especially nerve racking for a new patient,unfamiliar with the facility. The doctor's give an uncaring,uninterested, and overall unwelcoming feeling and vibe towards patients and their needs during visits. I'm new to the area and have only been to the practice once. A few weeks after my annual exam there I found out that I'm pregnant. Shortly after that I started bleeding when I was out of town. I called and talked to a doctor who was great, and told me that that early in my pregnancy I could just let the miscarriage happen naturally instead of going to the emergency room unless my blood type happened to be negative.
