Specialties Simply put: We specialize in getting you back to doing the things you need, want, and love to do without pain. Unlike treatment sessions at most Physical Therapy clinics, every patient at Carter Physiotherapy receives an hour of one-on-one time with a Doctor of Physical Therapy... not a technician or assistant. We use unique hands-on Manual Therapy to rapidly resolve pain and injury. Modalities like E-stim and Ultrasound are not used because they are not as effective and efficient as hands-on treatment. Carter Physio is top notch! Nick is a wizard for shoulder pain and recovery. I had a pretty significant shoulder injury from a jiu jitsu incident requiring a complex surgery. I’ve made more progress post-surgery in 2 visits with Nick than 2 months for normal insurance based physical therapy. If you are an athlete with shoulder pain, do yourself a favor and see Nick!
I have been dealing with a left shoulder issue for years. My left arm began to get incredibly weak and my muscles started to atrophy. I tried chiropractic and massage but the issue never went away. I chose to deal with it and ultimately stopped lifting because that would irritate my shoulder/trap/neck and then I'd be in pain. I saw a ad while on social media and I watched Jarod working with a patient and listening to him, I reached out that night (it was 1130pm). Gretchen reached out to me the very next morning. My first vis... read more
I cannot recommend Carter Physiotherapy enough. My nine-year-old son sprained his ankle quite severely the day before our appointment. When we arrived, he couldn’t even walk on it. Jarod, our therapist, worked with him for an hour, and by the end of the session, my son was able to jog across the room! We are a week out as of today and he is back to playing baseball with some ankle support. What we thought would be a six to eight week recovery has been cut down to one or two weeks. As a former college athlete, I’ve dealt with... read more
I recently graduated from Carter PT. Nick was my PT and is THE BEST. If you need manual PT, he is the best in town. This is not like most PT places, if you have had PT before you will know what I am talking about. Nick does not have a PTA or tech that he passes you off to. He has a lot of training in specialized manual therapy skills and worked on my foot for a full hour every time I came in doing manual therapy. I had plantar fasciitis from an injury and was having pain in my foot for 8+ months. My foot doctor prescribed Gr... read more
As a current client of Carter Physiotherapy, I am continually impressed by the quality of service and care I receive. From the moment I walk in, the professionalism and dedication is evident. Nick Biederwolf’s expertise in physical therapy is truly remarkable. His unique approach, combined with his genuine ability to listen, has significantly improved my condition. After a year of struggling with hip pain, I’ve been amazed at the relief he has provided in such a short time. The exceptional care at Carter Physiotherapy goes b... read more
