root canal, very expensive $1200 one root, not dentistry -torture will never go back nor recommend-shop around there are other better cheaper Dentists

Dr. Carter is the best dentist I have ever had, bar none. He does excellent work and follows up for free. He truly cares about his patients and follows up with personal phone calls. However, what really makes Dr. Carter stand out is that he is not just in dentistry for the money, he strives to understand the patient and the problem on an individual basis. He is honest, diligent and compassionate as well as an excellent dentist. Two thumbs up for Dr. Carter!

The reason for my visit was to finish a stubborn root canal. I was referred to him by my dentist and I am very please with his treatment. I was given ALOT of novacaine so I didn't even feel a thing. He was very gentle during the procedure and followed up with a call later that evening to see how I was doing. I would definitely reccomend him.

The only doctor - ever - with whom I did not feel any pain/discomfort as I was numbed up. I always feel the pain of the anesthetic entering my gums, in spite of that topical stuff they rub on beforehand. With Dr. Carter, I didn't feel anything. Very cool. It took a long time for him to apply the entire dose, but as long as I don't/won't feel pain, I don't care. So 4 stars for pain free. I just had (unfortunately) a second endodontic procedure performed by Dr. Carter. Dr. Carter is fabulous. He is excellent at explaining what he is doing, very concerning with keeping you comfortable, and his staff is friendly and professional. He's not cheap, but then again, I don't think I'd WANT an inexpensive endodontist. Like they say . . . you get what you pay for.

My daughter was seen by Dr. Carter for a retreat of a previous root canal performed by another dentist. Dr. Carter was very kind to my daughter. He talked with me before the procedure and took the time to answer all of my questions. My daughter is 14 and this work was done on one of her front teeth. Her visit with Dr. Carter was on a Friday. Dr. Carter called to check up on her on Saturday and Sunday. He was very nice and talked to me about the options that are open to us to try to restore her tooth. I had a difficult tooth to numb during a root canal and Dr. Carter became frustrated with me and was NOT kind. We had to stop and reschedule the appt. in order to do a different type of anesthesia and he was just not personable at all.

I AM A SCAREDY CAT, AND I DON'T LIKE GOING TO THE DENTIST. I HAD 2 ROOT CANALS DONE BY HIM AND HE MADE ME VERY CONFERTABLE... AND HIS STAFF IS GREAT!! THANKS DR CARTER...

Had root canal, didn't feel a thing - very friendly personnel, Dr. Carter walked me through everything. Equipment seems to be top-notch. No waiting time either.
