We used Carrot Tree for our May 2018 wedding cake. Our three tier cake had three flavors - pound cake with raspberry filling, pound cake with no filling, and carrot cake. Every tier was amazing and flavorful. The design of the cake was exactly what I had had in my mind - with the piped scrolling and flowers all over. Carrot Tree was very easy to work with and very communicative leading up to the big day.
A nice quaint little place for breakfast or lunch--even has a place on the patio for you and your pup when the weather is nice enough. :)
I recently took a group of 16 adults with special needs to tour Historic Jamestowne. I spoke ahead of our trip with Melissa at the Dale House Cafe and she helped me put together a plan for boxed lunches. When we arrived, she and the staff had everything ready for us and it was delicious! They were able to accommodate our friend who needed a gluten free meal, and they allowed one of our friends to bring his own meal ("extra" special dietary concerns) and still eat with us at the cafe.
