My husband saw Dr Anthony Ford in May 2013. He died of undiagnosed bacterial meningitis the next day. It was his third time seeking medical care in four days. The jury found the doctor negligent, however ER doctors are protected because the standard is gross negligence. In other words, since the doctor wasn't drunk, there is nothing you can do, and he can continue to practice and kill other patients.
