Please RUN from this practice. Like many others my psychiatrist passed away. It wasn’t until I called to make a med management appointment that they told me this information. They transferred me to this woman who goes by “Judith”. If you take any controlled substances please avoid her at any costs. She will ask you for very sensitive topics to speak on and then at the end of the session you will be told she doesn’t prescribe that specific medication. Sixby was alright. Sorry he left the practice. If you get assigned to M.A. Smith, run for the hills. The most cold-hearted counselor I've ever had. This person needs to pick a profession where compassion is not a requirement. Good riddance to this practice. Just miserable.
My doctor literally died, and nobody contacted me to inform me of that. Then, when I asked for a refill of medication to last until I could see a new doctor, they gave me a run around about completing forms for a week straight. And I had been a patient there for over 5 years!
This place is incredibly disorganized. My doctor was leaving the practice and I was not notified by the office, for the 2nd time! I needed a prescription refilled and that is how i found out both of my doctors left. It took 3 weeks to even here back from the office management. If you enjoy not having your calls returned by the office management than this place is like heaven! You are better off using a different counseling center. The doctors are good but the management is slow moving and unreliable.
We took an appointment even though this place was all the way out in columbia because it's the only in-network practice that would do the testing we asked for. We had to wait months and months for an appointment, come to a pre-testing appointment, and take a couple days off work for testing. I mention all this because when we got there on the day of testing, they said we can't proceed unless we give them $150 dollars. Like a mob shakedown.
