The absolute worst. 3 years of property taxes in delinquency from them failing to pay... why?! Stay away from Carrington Mortgage

Carrington Mortgage IS NOT A MORTGAGE COMPANY, they are a mortgage debt collector, they offer you ZERO assistance to get caught up, they have no interest in helping you KEEP your property, they only want to take your property, I was 2 months behind, and they started bombarding me with pre-foreclosure certified letters, I’ve hired a law firm (BANYA GROUP) to get them off my ass, they exhibit extreme predatory practices & need to be investigated. Not surprised to see only one star reviews on here. This company recently took over servicing my mortgage loan and in the span of 3 months managed to already screw up my homeowners insurance coverage. They sent my insurance payment to the “wrong location” and when confronted lied and after a week of this they have still not sent the payment!!! The people in charge do not communicate and nothing gets done to no fault of the people that are unfortunate enough to have them take over their loan. They need to be investigated bc t... read more
