Shame on Met Life!! I just found out Met Life is the investor holding my loan! They transferred serving of my loan to this company. This is the shadiest mortgage service provider ever! They don't accept wire transers, or have virtually made impossible to pay my loan without paying exorbitant Western Union OR MoneyGram fees!! They are clearly in the business of trying to make it easier to default. Wait...im reading alot of negative reviews and im telling you...this is not my experience....could have been...but wasn't. Because when you are in a situation...first order of business.....slowwwwww... downnnnn...don't rush off that phone...dont call until you have time to waste holding a rep hostage...and recording the conversation and referring back might be the best idea. Absolutely horrendous! During the recent government shut down, they told us not worry about the payment (misinforming us about how it would be handled due to poor communication) but now it looks like we are delinquent on our payments. We applied for forbearance which we got for three months and would have corrected this issue as long as we paid on time as usual despite only owing our APPROVED $0 PAYMENTS. Now, the forbearance is expiring and they're saying we still have not satisfied the loan. Have absolutely left us in the ... read more
Worst Mortgage company I have ever seen. Pennymac sold my mortgage to Carrington but I made my last payment with Pennymac. I called Carrington made them aware. They said before we can update your account you need to send us bank statements showing you made your house payment. THAT WAS A MONTH AGO! I gave them proof and they still haven’t fixed my account. Meanwhile they are telling me to wait while also sending me delinquency notices. Avoid Carrington at all costs. They will screw you.
Extremely unprofessional, completely disorganized their website is a joke! I have never had such a difficult time making that payment online. It's impossible you have to do it with their automated system
