Glad I am not alone here. Took over my mortgage and its been nothing but a headache. Everything month seems like there is another reason for my mortgage to increase. Three months ago say I had a negative escrow because tax increase, okay paid the extra. Following mortgage went up $200 due to insurance and tax increase, okay paid it got new insurance to help bring the bill back down. Carrington Mortgage IS NOT A MORTGAGE COMPANY, they are a mortgage debt collector, they offer you ZERO assistance to get caught up, they have no interest in helping you KEEP your property, they only want to take your property, I was 2 months behind, and they started bombarding me with pre-foreclosure certified letters, I’ve hired a law firm (BANYA GROUP) to get them off my ass, they exhibit extreme predatory practices & need to be investigated.
