We weren’t planning to replace the insulation this year, but after removing part of the ceiling during a remodel, it became obvious that the attic needed much more attention. Some of the old batt insulation had been compressed for so long that it barely covered the ceiling joists anymore. During a home upgrade, we discovered that most of the insulation in our crawl space had fallen. Rather than patching sections, Carrier Insulation recommended a complete insulation replacement.
