Inviting The Carriage House is a Warm and inviting place to spend the remaining year. The staff is warm and inviting. Overall it is a very pleasant place to be. There has been a change in personal, as well as a new menu being put into place. They have the most beautiful fish tank in the main entrance. It certainly makes for a refreshing moment.
If only I had made a different decision I have tremendous guilt for choosing this facility for my mother. She died within weeks of my sending here to Carriage House to live. The director convinced me that they were capable of caring for someone with severe dementia. I guess I was desperate to find a home for her, and believed her. They are not at all able to care for the later stage dementia patients. I feel like I sentenced my mother to death. Lovely Community While looking for a place for mom to have additional care while remaining independent, we found the retirement community Carriage House Assisted Living in Denton, TX. This retirement community is nestled within the beautiful orchards that provides a serene and beautiful setting. Very peaceful place Recently visited Carriage House Assisted Living and looking in to moving there. I was very impressed and amazing food, set up was very good, friendly staff, and even open to the public. By far the best senior campus price wise, and by size and layout of the apartments. I've lived in the Denton for years. How did I not know about this before???
This place is by far the best we've seen One of a kind in the Denton, TX! For the past couple months I've been going around to several retirement communities with my dad and this place is by far the best we've seen. The grounds are beautiful, people are friendly, and the place is super clean. They actually have a restaurant and meals are included as part of the rent! I strongly recommended it to anyone looking to retire!
Excellent Residential Facilities Last week my brother and I stayed as guest of our mom, who is living in Carriage House Assisted Living community. She has lived there for 1 year and loves their residential care facilities, so do we. The employees are kind, generous and very helpful. Excellent amenities and service This is an exceptional place with great amenities, great friends and a friendly and knowledgeable staff. I am here for one year now and I couldn't have chosen a better place.
Don't do it! I would stay away from this place. My mother was a resident for several months, and I finally had to move her. The daytime caregiver staff is ok, but the evening and weekend staff are terrible. It is during these periods that we had our biggest problems. They are understaffed, lazy, and change often. The administration seems very friendly on first impression, but that quickly changed. The food is very poor quality as well (which was the constant complaint I heard from my mother).
