Times Squareis home to a little bit of football heaven, with theCarragher's Pub & Restaurant NYC opening its doors on West 39th Street. As the name suggests, this upbeat place is dedicated to Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher, and showcases memorabilia from his heydays, some of which includes signed jerseys and scarves lent by the man himself. The pub's exterior is all set to match the facade of London's old-fashioned pubs, and interiors see sports fans jostling for space at the bar, to catch the game during match season. Alt... read more

As a Scouser and my lad being a big LFC fan it was compulsory for us to drop in on our visit to New York. And I was really impressed. Done out like a boozer back home, we were made to feel completely at home as soon as we walked in. There was a Christmas works night out going on and it just added to the atmosphere. It was great! The food was very good too.....I wasn't expecting too much if I'm honest- it being british food in NYC but I was really surprised by how good it was. I had the bangers and mash and it was delish. Booked a table from UK about a week before the match - like the kop on match days - waiter service for drinks & food - top place
Atmosphere wonderful on match day. Food of a good standard, comfortable facilities and more than enough screens!!
Excellent bar, wonderful staff and great place to watch the match - I would highly recommend a visit there
This is a nice place but it’s a shame that some of the staff lower the standard. I went to watch a Liverpool game and was refused a glass of water because I didn’t have a tab open. When I spoke to management their argument was that they needed to pay bills despite the place being absolutely packed with people. Such a shame that such people are supposedly representing a city and team that I love and where most of my immediate family is from.
Business response:
Absolutely packed is right! As a business we have an obligation to serve our paying customers. Water is free to all our patrons. You were given the opportunity to open a tab and you refused. You don’t necessarily have to drink alcohol when ordering at the bar but if plan to eat like you claimed you were going to do- why not just start a tab, order your water and enjoy the match? The bar hit capacity by 2pm. We turned away over 100 potential customers today. You got in. Thank you for coming. Under the circumstances with hundr... read more

Great food and whiskeys. Excellent service. We kicked t he door in with a party of 12
Slow service. Food is fair at best. Soup is good
Business response:
Perhaps judging a restaurant harshly on the busiest nite of the year, the snowy Friday before Christmas might be a tad unfair... no???
Came here yesterday for lunch. Great service and friendly staff. Popped in on the off chance and so glad we did as the food was lovely 👍👍
