This is without a doubt the best overall restaurant in Athens. This restaurant would rival any in Houston, Tx. We retired here about 8 years ago and have been to all of the so called 5 star restaurant's and beat this food anywhere.
Donna I have eaten here twice, Both times the food was so good and the protions were large. I eat out a lot at some high end restaurants. I put the food and service at the top and it is priced right.
BEST ITALIAN CHAIN EVER! – Nearly anything you get is delicious! The bread and herbs are THE BEST! Great atmosphere, quality, and food! Service is great, very nice and conversational!
Good if you like garlic I have never really liked Carrabba's. Whenever I ate there, the food seemed like it was microwaved too long. The food also tasted like it had way too much garlic in it.
Carrabba's is one of our favorite restaurants. The food is excellent. The service is just as wonderful. The manager not only has trained his staff well to be attentive and provide great service, but he himself walks around to check to make sure everyone is getting the quality of food and service that they want. The prices are good for what you get. I don't want Italian 7 days a week, but when we do... this is where we go! We have never been disappointed, no matter what we ordered or when we went there. Love it!
BEST SANGRIA - GREAT TASTING COMES IN A CARAFE / SERVICE SLOW ON FRIDAYS AND WEEKENDS – Our server's name was Robbie, and he seemed to be new. Our order was incorrect because the restaurant was packed with people shortly after we arrived. So much so, that the manager did not bring us a sample of calamari, and we ended up being charged for two orders of calamari.
