Very unprofessional. We have been going there for several years out of convenience. This last appointment was very sad as we had to put our 12 year old golden down. We had taken many steps to finally make this decision and make it to the appointment. At the appointment, we were then asked if we could do any more for him. What!? It was awful. Dr Elizabeth Hennessey is fantastic. Our vet for 20 plus years. Has taken very good care of our dogs and cats. I would go no where else.
They are the most professional as well as compassionate staff that I’ve ever met. I’ve had dogs in my life for over 32 yrs. I’ve interacted with many Vets, and by far, they were the BEST!
I’m very disappointed in Newburyport Carr Island Animal Hospital today. I’ve used them for 5 years and up until this point they have been good, however I will no longer be using their services. If my dog goes in for blood work a YEAR ago and you discover in the labs he’s sick with hypothyroidism and you call me (on the wrong number) and don’t reach me, why would you not send a letter in the mail? I have been going here for years. Dr. Hennessey is the most compassionate caring person. She always puts the animals best interest first. She never orders unnecessary tests just to take your money. I would highly recommend this facility. I live an hour and half from there she is worth the long ride to get the best care for my animals.
