Heather made me feel seen. Not to knock my past psychiatrist, but I felt like Heather got me the moment I walked into her office. She picked up on subtle cues but importantly asked me the right questions to guide me toward what likely was my condition. Just had my first follow up with her and I feel just as strongly as I did with the first visit. I highly recommend. In addition, her front office is pleasant, easy to work with and available.

My depression has had moments of getting better but, with each bought worsened over the years despite following all instructions provided including doing additional treatment when prescribed. With my last episode of depression I received a text message (instead of a phone call at least) that she did not want to keep me as a patient. As a professional who has referred several clients to Heather over a 20 year period, I have the utmost confidence in her medical abilities and intuition. Heather is a warm, caring, empathetic practitioner who's only mission is the well-being of her patients.

Competent. Gets to the point, no fooling around. I'm married to a mental health professional, and I know a good one when I see her.
Heather is very thorough and really listens to what I am saying. Yes, that is her job but you'd be surprised at how many psychiatrists don't actually listen or how many I've been to who fail to really "see" me. I didn't feel like she was just trying to fit me into some textbook case or category and send me on my way with a prescription as others have done in the past.
