Heather is very thorough and really listens to what I am saying. Yes, that is her job but you'd be surprised at how many psychiatrists don't actually listen or how many I've been to who fail to really "see" me. I didn't feel like she was just trying to fit me into some textbook case or category and send me on my way with a prescription as others have done in the past.
Heather is kind, knowledgeable, patient and a pleasure to know. Actually, she's the best!
Heather made me feel comfortable; it isn't easy opening up to someone when you already have trust issues. I'd recommend her!!!
I was very anxious to go for my initial consultation. Heather immediately put me at ease and she spent a long time with me getting to know my and my situation. I felt extremely comfortable with her and continue to with every visit. Heather is professional and knowledgeable in her field. She is very responsive to my phone calls and texts and always puts me at ease. I am very grateful that she took me on as a client.
Heather offers perspectives which are not "cookie cutter" as well as being open to differing belief systems and modalities around how "we heal." I've had extremely positive experiences seeing her.
