Update- The district manager called and made things right. They apologized and issued a full refund. Pro tip- the warranty follows the battery, not the purchase. I purchased a $250 battery from Carquest, and unfortunately it failed just over a year later. The battery was still under warranty, but when I returned to the store, the supervisor refused to honor the warranty or replace it. I purchased a $250 battery from Carquest, and unfortunately it failed just over a year later.
