We have camped at the Carpinteria campground for years.. Our children have so many great memories, riding their bikes, beach day, the nightly camp fires and much more. Our family has loved the lil town so much we bought in Silver Sands Mobile Home Park for our get away. We see many grand memories to continue.
This is a great place to go camping with kids . Very clean ! I would give it 5 stars if it wasn't for the fact that they let people smoke , there is kids everywhere and as a pregnant mom I don't want to be second hand smoking when I'm trying to relax right in front of my trailer. They seem to be strict about everything else though
My family loves Carp. We go whenever we can get away. Perfect getaway!

I have been going to Carpinteria since I was a child...this is definitely my favorite beach to relax and unwind and spend time with my love !! :)
The rangers are eagerly waiting for you to make a mistake so you can be slapped with a hefty ticket.
