RecommendedWe had to put our beloved Golden Retriever Duke down he had cancer. Dr. Sandra Carpenter and her staff was so amazing. They made our Golden retriever as comfortable as possible. A Real Angel! My mothers cat was near death Tuesday night. It was late at night so I drove to MedVet in Worthington. In my personal opinion had I not been able to cover the bill they would have let the cat die. As it was it cost $293.05! I didnt call but was on Sandys doorstep at 9:15 AM on Wednesday. I picked a happy cat today, and about broke down crying over how inexpensive the bill was! Shes an Angel!
Highly recommend. Worth the drive from Lexington for over 20 years! Not many vets can compare.Quick appointment times and willing to help my unwilling K9. She is always so busy because she is a good one.
Unfortunately, we had to call Dr. Carpenter after-hours, as our own vet refers to her for emergency calls. I’ve never before had such a cold and heartless response from a professional. I don’t know if it was because we’re not her regular clients or something else, but she was downright snarky. Dr Carpenter has always been great. She is very up front about any treatment options and very explanatory in any diagnosis and how to care for our pets.
Sandy is wonderful. I trust her, and that's saying a lot. She keeps things real and doesn't lie. She keeps things moving in her office seeing patients and doesn't keep you waiting. Don't get me wrong, she takes time for every dog and cat...she doesn't dally around. When my best friend died, she had empathy.and professionally helped me through it. My first dog and six years later; I'm still grieving, as my Petie was everything. I can't say enough about Sandy...she's a great doctor and someone you can trust with your beloved f... read more

I cant remember one time I was not able to to be worked into the schedule..and thats when I have called the morning and got my pet seen the same day..sometimes I had to wait...but did get my animal seen.
Called Dr Carpenter when I found my regular vet was out of town for two weeks. She got me in the same day and was so good with my dog. She was very caring and personable. Her cost are very reasonable. Would highly recommend and will be seeing her as our new regular vet.
