Chic lines and warm earth tones make for a classy decor at Carpaccio. The food is equally trendy, but prepared with old-fashioned attention to detail and served by a well-trained wait staff. The house special, carpaccio, is highly seasoned and made with melt-in-your-mouth tender beef. Other delights include a towering Caesar Salad and a lemony grilled salmon with capers served with creamy risotto. There is a selection of perfectly prepared pastas with a variety of sauces to satisfy both carnivores and vegetarians. The wine l... read more

The Best Italian Carpaccio is the perfect Italian restaurant. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The menu has a nice variety or traditional dishes and wonderful desserts. The staff is very friendly. This is a great place for a great dinner with good food, and good friends.
Carpaccio is delicious but pricey. Carpaccio's has very good service, wonderful atmosphere, and high quality and gourmet food. It is very elegant and fancy, but not cheap. Be prepared to spend money.
Magnificent The restaurant is a little small but has a very exclusive feel to it. The menu is set up very nicely and the wait staff is wonderful. I have to say that our waiter Diego was wonderful, he gave great suggestions and was very attentive with us. The meal was amazing and our dessert was a wonderful top off. I would go there again in a heart beat. PRO: Good service, good prices, good portions CON: A little dark, hostess is a little strange
Good for conversation over dinner Carpaccio is tucked away on Crane St. in Menlo Park. Traditional Italian fare which is totally solid served by formally dressed wait staff. Great atmosphere and a good place for a date night conversation. Also have good half-bottles of wine including Sonoma Cutrer Chard and Ridge Zin. Lamb is a good choice. Crowd definitely skews older - probably capturing a lot of the older Menlo Park folks who used to go to Dal Buffo.
A memorable dining experience. We had a wonderful relaxing meal at this restaurant. You know it's a good sign when you walk in at 7:30 on a Wednesday evening and the place is packed. We waited for 10 minutes for a table and didn't mind the wait. It was soooo worth it! The service was very attentive right from the beginning. Excellent lemon drops and recommendation for red wine. We shared the Parmesan souffle with baby spinach, arugula, and shaved asparagus in a champagne walnut oil vinaigrette was delicious (the salad dressi... read more
