This unique little candy shop on Fisherman's Wharf sells amazing specialty candies, all of which are handmade on site. Choose from gourmet salt water taffies, exotic handmade chocolate clusters, blueberry gummy whales, caramel apples and much, much more. Everything can be ordered online, and the store even has its own chat line and mailing list. It is a great place for that sweet-lover in all of us, and the service is fantastic. I tried ordering from the website but its down so I called in an order and I just received my sugar free saltwater taffy and chocolate caramel corn lets just say it lasted 2 days my family's new found addiction thank you Carousel Candies we will be placing another order my kids are anxiously waiting
Did not like the experience at all. Seriously overpriced: 0.68 lbs chocolate/pecan slice for 24 dollars. Far too sweet too. Waste of my money...

I have got to say that this is the absolute BEST Saltwater Candy I have ever had!!! The shop is so cute, warm and inviting with amazing staff!!!
They are the only place that also carry my favorite Cherry Candied Apples! All the other places around only have caramel or cinnamon candied apples. I recommend their salt water taffy of course, also their ice cream, well all the candy that they make there hasn't disappointed me yet YUM!!!🍭🍬🍫🍦🍡💜
The best candy I've ever eaten. Their recipes were created and perfected by the owner Rick Elves who was a master candy maker. Do yourself a favor and pass the other commercially made candy stores. Carousel Candies is the last candy store on the Wharf.
Nearly 2 years ago I visited Carousel Candies while on vacation and I left a review describing my unpleasant experience with the customer service I received and the fudge I purchased. Thus you can imagine my surprise when I was contacted by them a week ago with a sincere apology for how things were handled and they wanted to make things right! I simply LOVE the candy here at this store! when me and my family go up to Monterey California we shop here for our SWEETS! I have to bring a list of candies I have to buy because all of my friends and family members in southern California and on Staten Island NY, love the different types of candy Carousel Candies sell! I recommend this store to anyone who has a sweet tooth...this is the place to find all of your old time Favorite candies and the new style candies that are popular! The Salt Water Taffy and the Carmel Popcorn are two of my favorites at Carousel Candies!!! I have been going there for years to get wonderful sweet treats!!! I will continue to stop in every time I’m back on Fisherman’s Wharf in Monterey!!!
