This unique little candy shop on Fisherman's Wharf sells amazing specialty candies, all of which are handmade on site. Choose from gourmet salt water taffies, exotic handmade chocolate clusters, blueberry gummy whales, caramel apples and much, much more. Everything can be ordered online, and the store even has its own chat line and mailing list. It is a great place for that sweet-lover in all of us, and the service is fantastic. I took my kids to Monterey for the 4th of July weekend so off to the Wharf we went. It was our first time visiting Carousel Candies and my kids loved it! They chose cotton candy, gummy sharks, waffle cone ice cream and a chocolate and strawberry milk shakes. We will come back and visit soon. Thank you Justin for such a friendly smile!

The best candy store is back open! This place is the best with their made-in-house goody variety. I was pretty happy to get my Carmel corn and candy fix. Everything was bagged and neat in there to protect the customers with all that’s been going on. Cindy was behind the counter and took very good care of us. Thank you so much!
There are many salt-water taffy shops on the west coast. This is the best one, using strong distinct flavors. Their other candies are great too, but Carousel taffy is off the charts.
