John Austin tickles the ivories at this piano bar from Wednesday through Saturday, but the real attraction is the Carousel Bar & Lounge itself at Hotel Monteleone. It's a carousel and really does revolve - all the time. The music goes until late and the cocktails served are out of this world like the "Truffletini" which is a mix of Bailey's Irish Cream with liqueurs. The ambiance has a slight feel of a Moulin Rouge setting, with bold lighting and motifs.

Best hotel in New Orleans. Carousel Bar the absolute epitome. "Bar none".
This is such a fun bar. If you have chancen sit at the carousel, you'll get to revolve around the bar (15 minute for a full round)

My favorite place to stay in New Orleans. Wonderful staff and of course there's the awesome carrousel Bar!
A must see when visiting the city. The Carousel is completely unique and the lounge is extensive and comfortable. The weekend jazz ensemble was a favorite, singer had a beautiful voice.
