John Austin tickles the ivories at this piano bar from Wednesday through Saturday, but the real attraction is the Carousel Bar & Lounge itself at Hotel Monteleone. It's a carousel and really does revolve - all the time. The music goes until late and the cocktails served are out of this world like the "Truffletini" which is a mix of Bailey's Irish Cream with liqueurs. The ambiance has a slight feel of a Moulin Rouge setting, with bold lighting and motifs.

Beautiful place and the food is awesome there too
A must visit if your in New Orleans been going there for 30 years. Thursday we listened to some great jazz as we watched the carousel go around. Nice evening.
One of my favorite classic bars in New Orleans. Great hotel as well right on Royal St in the French Quarter. I think it is time to plan another trip.
A step back in time! Wished it was 1930 again. Lovely Martini as well.
I loved it here it was really different. Must try it.
