I have a 2011 Subaru Outback with false or bogus check engine light, after many missed or wrong diagnostics and money, I brought the car to Carotech, talk to Gary (the manager) and they find out that we need new electrical main harnesses to fix the problem, it look like in the past some wires were cut and connectors damaged. Recommended I replace my radiator fans and module without bothering to check the fuse or condition of the wires. Quoted me $1600 to fix the issue. Cost me $50 in electrical equipment to fix the issue. Surprising given they usually do fantastically well at diagnosing issues.
Call them to ask about services they provide and they were really rude to me on the phone.
Los Angeles area can be tough when it comes to finding an honest, skilled and trustworthy auto shop. Having unexpected car troubles is never fun but I’m so happy I found these guys as a result! Best of the best. Also appreciated that they did not attempt to up-sale me on any additional services and were extra understanding and accommodating. Not only will I be using them for future auto needs but I’ll be recommending them to everyone I know in the area! A++++
