Every morning at 9:30 I get a text that I actually look forward to! It’s been over 3 years and gets me excited ever time just to see what the day’s quote will be!
Caron renaissance was the first treatment center that gave our family support and advice as opposed to others centers that only treated our son with his addiction problems. As parents, we needed treatment as much as our son did. They had family therapy sessions and led us to support groups with other parents who had family members at Caron. It was priceless support that we desperately needed
I checked in for alcohol and informed them I had also been on a benzo prescription for the past year. When they transferred me out of detox, I went into severe benzo withdrawal for three days untreated begging for medical attention. They ignored me. The dr finally saw me Monday afternoon and assessed that I was in benzo withdrawal and needed to be transferred back to detox immediately. I truly appreciate all of the individual and family-focused work offered at Caron. There is a strong, mission-driven approach woven into each aspect of the program.
