Couldn’t have had a worse experience with this place. My 11.5 year old lab passed away this morning at this excuse for an emergency vet clinic. He got a clean bill of health from them less than 2 weeks ago. He started showing signs of weakness yesterday morning. I took him to the RH location, spent an hour there, only to be told I had to go to Matthews. Waited two hours with a snake bite to my dogs face. Never saw a vet. No sense of urgency. Employees walking around having snacks and chatting but every animal in the waiting area remained unseen. A 1-2 hour wait time was stated and no one was being helped. If you value your pets health do not take them to this office.
It's never a good day when your fur babies need unexpected help, but the team here provides passionate, professional help when you need it most.
You guys did an amazing job for us. I arrived in middle of night with my deceased 14 year old dog. Team was courteous and helpful. Picked up her remains yesterday and I didn’t know what to expect because it was a blur. The ink paw print and nose print and card was a really nice touch that made us emotional but also provided my kids such a laugh thinking of her pressing her nose up against a window. Thank you for making the tough situation better.
After being boarded, our Yorkie was experiencing bloody stools. We called Carolina Veterinary Specialists Matthews and were pat told by Liz to come right in....no appointment was necessary. After arriving at 9:06 a.m., we patiently waited 4 1/2 hours with no update or contact from anyone regarding our dog's situation.
