Worst place you can take a pet. We have a 12 week old Maltese puppy that was having trouble standing up. Carolina Veterinary Specialist, Huntersville charged us $850 for unnecessary testing and services with $1225 deposit for further testing. Diagnosis was stint vein around liver which caused low sugar level. Surgery after more testing was projected to cost $8k-$10k. We stopped testing and consulted another veterinarian.
