Have always loved this place. First time there was 1959. Every summer of my childhood, honeymoon in 2000 and back this year just in time for the hurricane. Still had a great time while there.
We've been coming to the Carolina Temple for 18 years and even this year with Hurricane Florence, we were able to get down there, albeit a week late. Steve and Mary and their entire family are so open and welcoming, we've come to love them as friends. The people we meet there are always interesting and fun to hang out with. It's comfortable and reasonably priced. What's not to like? A perfect place to kick back and have a real vacation!

Great location, great place! Helped accomidate our entire family in 3 different rooms, all clean and nice. Great conversation with Steve about the history of the area as he is a 3rd generation owner. We definitely will be back again and again when we visit our daughter at UNCW. Way better than any local hotel and very fair pricing. Easy beach and sound access. Beaches on both sides! Didn't inflate his pricing like most places did for a dual event weekend. Shows how fair he is! Very Happy! :) The Dunn's from Apex, NC
