I went to Dr Forehand when I was a child. I loved her as a child which is saying alot bc there's not many children that get excited to go to the doctor! When I had my first child I knew I wanted her for my children. My first child was born in 2010 and I've had 3 more children since then. Extremely frustrated with this practice as my 16 month old just can’t seem to get the care he needs. He was diagnosed this past Monday with fluid in his ear but the pediatrician decided not to give him an antibiotic but rather ask to see him again in 7 days. Now his fever is spiking and they will not prescribe or call in an antibiotic. Just spoke to the nurse who said that none of the doctors are reachable and recommended an urgent care facility.. Carolina Pediatrics of Wilmington is the best!! My daughter has been seeing Dr. Henderson since she was a two year old she is now seven. She answers all of my questions and even lets my daughter listen and play with the stethoscope. I recommend any parent(s) to go there for your child’s healthcare needs. We have been with Carolina Peds just over 6 years! They were the first place we took our boys to when we moved here and have never even thought of changing!!! Dr. Forehand is the best of the best!!! She takes so much time to talk to my kids and me and answers and questions and concerns any of us have AND makes sure we completely understand! They are all great, the entire office all the way from as soon as you walk through the door till you leave!!! The best part is my kids actually enjoy going to the doctor!!!
I love this practice. Dr. Forehand is the best in the practice. She is my daughter's doctor. The only part I do not like, is she is the best in the practice, so getting to see her is impossible. I want her to see my daughter but she's booked months in advance. Everyone is such sweeties here though.
Dr. Forehand is the best pediatrician ever! Such an intelligent and sweet woman!
