This practice is fantastic! Definitely among the best dental practices I've ever been to. Dr. Efrid was calm and easy to talk with. He's also not aggressive with his treatment recommendations (didn't feel like I needed a whole lot done, whereas the last place I went to went way overboard on their recommendations). His staff is top notch, super sweet, and very professional. Office is clean and modern. I have no hesitation recommending him to anyone.
I have been going to Carolina Mountain Dental for a number of years. I have never no showed or unreasonably cancelled an appointment. I had an appointment to have a cleaning and have the dentist remove a brace that he placed to secure two teeth. I called this morning to cancel the appointment because I was told we were short staffed at work and I was required to work. I was well within 24 hours of my appointment. I was told the cancellation has to be within 48 hours and was told I would be billed $80.00. I asked if they had ... read more

Great Experience getting my 25 year old front caps replaced! Caps are a much better match to my own teeth. Very very happy with the results. My husband and I both had cleanings (with different hygienists) and had positive experiences. We have full confidence in Dr. Efird and his entire Team. We have found our WNC dental group!

I've been going to Carolina Mountain Dental for several years. My hygienist Michelle is excellent. She's friendly, always takes her time, and pays careful attention to detail. She tells you everything she's doing, so you know what to expect. Dr. Efird is great too. He really takes the time to understand your concerns and explain any procedures. I highly recommend Carolina Mountain Dental!
I would like to publicly thank Dr. Jeffrey Efird for his kind donation of toothbrushes to the Veterans Restoration Quarters. The Edward Buncombe DAR Chapter was collecting dental-care items for the veterans to accompany their candy bags, and Dr. Efird helped us by donating a case of quality toothbrushes. Thanks, Dr. Efird!
The staff is friendly and great at what they do. No judgement, just excellent and compassionate dental care.
