Many thanks to Dr. Minkin for providing me with relief from a very painful experience with carpal tunnel and thumb tendonitis. He was super-knowledgeable, compassionate, and wanted to try a non-surgical solution first which, thankfully, helped me immensely. Highly recommend.
Horrible experience. I tried to take my husband there, but because he has a condition, dysesthesia, that causes him great pain when skin is exposed to sun light and wears clothing that protects him and would not remove it until in a room w/o a window they refused to see him. To me this is discrimination of someone with a disability. I will NEVER again recommend them to anyone. Guess one has to find a doctor in a bigger city in order to find a physician who really cares because you will not find one at Carolina Hand.
I would love to have a better opinion, but after waiting an hour and being told there were 6 patients ahead of me, 1 of whom had been waiting for an hour and 45 minutes, I decided to leave. Their excuse? Dr. Thompson has a lot of new patients. Excuse me? Isn't that why you make appointments? My time is just as valuable as his.
