Dr. Thornburg is a fantastic surgeon saved my fingers. OT and PT department top notch. Great department, lucky to have them in Asheville.
As others are saying, I had an awful experience with Dr Thornburg. He clearly did not care and had a smug look on his face. Huge waste of $100. Doctor saw me for 5 minutes , told me nothing new that my primary hadn’t said, gave me zero recommendations for healing ligaments or next steps to manage bad pain. Literally told me to take Motrin and answers “yes, nothing I can do have a good day” when I asked if it will prob hurt for the rest of my life. They are Awesome people that work there. Dr Lechner is an Awesome Dr. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing hand surgery. He done a Great job on my left hand where I had carpal tunnel. Great people and Great Doctors.
I had carpal tunnel surgery on both wrists in 2016 and 2017 and all was pain free. Then in 2018 I started having pain in my right wrist on the radial side. A cyst soon formed and the pain grew. De Quervain syndrome was diagnosed and a plan was established. After two cortisone shots and continued pain, surgery was scheduled for March 8. Stitches were removed on the 21st. Now four more weeks of not lifting more that 2lbs and no repetitive movement. Looking forward to no more pain for a long time. If anyone needs a hand special... read more
My first visit as a walk-in: xrays, ultrasound and consult in an hour! Well run practice!
Dr. Abram performed an excellent job w/ the surgery on my hand. Physical Therapist has been exceptional. would recogmend this practice!
They staff was great . Dr. West and his staff where amazing.
