The doctor is fine. The practice, however, has some very, very unscrupulous billing practices! Read your EOB’s and make sure you are paying what you should be! Six months in they have over $500 of my money that I’m still trying to get back!
From the staff up front to DR. Quists' nurses, the atmosphere is welcoming. Dr. Quist is extremely professional and personable. He has been treating a very stubborn infected blister on my hammer toe. The infection has been treated but my reluctance to have a simple , in office, procedure to fix my hammer toe the blister is pesky. Dr Quist is very good at what he does.
I went to Dr Quist for bunion surgery. The surgery went well but he gave me a Orthofix bone stimulator which through trial and error I found out it was causing inflammation in my foot. When I took the device back and explained what I experienced his nurse acted as if he didn't prescribe me that. Not sure why they wanted to act like someone else was responsible for the device but since that episode they did not treat me well at all. Acted as if that wasn't a side effect of the device. Dr. Quist has taken care of me for a very long time. He has performed surgery on both of my feet. He is very direct and explains things very well. His care is excellant!
I wanted to say Dr. Quist is absolutely awesome. Been under his care since 2013, when I had an ingrown nail on 2nd toe on my right foot. He got rid of it - and helped me be persistent, with follow up appointments. More recently he took care of a (at the moment) minor issue, with my 5th toe/toenail. Made all the difference, in my week.
