RecommendedExcellent visit from appointment, through exam, and follow up. This is my second visit with Dr Brooks, as my previous Dr left practice. Everyone is friendly, efficient and thorough. I have several pre-existing issues, Sammie and Dr Brooks answered all my questions and made me feel valued. I really have no doubt I’m getting the best care possible.

Rude office staff. Guy doing exam ordered me to hold my head back without telling me what he was going to put in my eyes. I had to ask what he was going to put in my eyes. At this point I simply left and will not return to a place like this.

The staff and doctors here are extremely caring, respectful to your confidentiality and it's THE most comfortable atmosphere to be in. I would definitely recommend anybody coming here before anywhere else! 10/10 Hands down!
Staff not respect patient privacy.
I've been going to Carolina Eye Care on Merrimon for a few years now. The staff has been great with follow up drop-ins for frame adjustments, prompt service upon arrival, and even facilitated frame replacement (without charging me)when I had trouble with the fit. Dr. Brooks communicates well and I feel well-taken-care-of. Note that this is my third optometrist shop in ten years in Asheville, so I'm not easily pleased. Hopefully, this one will remain my provider of choice for years to come.
