We rented a home for two years from Carolina Dunes. We always paid on time and left the place nicer than when we moved in. The carpet was disgusting and 20 years old when we moved in, we keep an extremely tidy home, but the carpet was so old and gross that we had to lay blankets down for the baby to play on the floor.Upon moving out our lease was held citing that the carpet was damaged(carpet over a certain amount of years has no value according to NC renters laws and the lawyer we spoke with).
