We have been doing group therapy for my 6 year old for 9 months now and have seen a lot of improvement in him. The tools given while he is calm help direct us when he is in emotional overload. Tantrums are much less, our home is more peaceful, and he feels more in control of his body, words, and emotions.
I wouldn’t recommend using them. They basically just let them kids come in and tell them anything, get paid and let the kids go on about their life. I honestly don’t think have the proper tools to help children/teenagers. They’re just there to collect their money. I have heard from other parents that this is exactly why they also stop using their services.
